Software Licensing

UA Software Licensing serves the University of Arizona campus community by providing public domain, bulk purchase, volume, and site-licensed software. Our goal is to provide software pricing at a significant discount compared to vendor's regular academic pricing, and to distribute software to subscribers as easily and conveniently as possible. For software that is not listed, departments and individuals should seek educational discounts directly from the UA Bookstore, software producers, or resellers.

Types of Software Licenses Available to Faculty, Staff, and Students

The software licenses are broadly divided into Department, Faculty/Staff, and Student. Depending on your affiliation with the University of Arizona you may obtain the software licenses by accessing and reviewing one of these three alphabetical listings.

These lists include all software administered by Software Licensing Services and other UA licensed software known to us. If you know of a software program licensed by the university that is not featured here, please contact us.
