Effective August 31, 2013 the old proxy service for Red Hat will no longer work. This is due to the new FY 2014 contract with Red Hat which requires a change in the update service from a proxy model to a satellite model. To continue receiving patches and software updates after that date you will need to go to the Red Hat Software License page to download a new copy of the bootstrap script and run it to register your machines.

The UA's Site License website has undergone an extreme makeover. Now known as Software License, the newly updated website is now available for faculty, staff, and students to access ‘no cost’ and ‘discounted’ software. The new improved website provides a more user-friendly interface and allows departments, faculty/staff, and students to easily navigate and access many of the most popular and specialty software programs available commercially. As part of the University of Arizona's license agreement with Gartner, all members of the UA community (faculty, staff, and students) now have access to both Classic Gartner and Gartner for Technical Professionals also known as My Gartner.
UA members should always login with their UA NetID and password through UA Site License. Do not access Gartner directly from Gartner’s website.
Use Internet Explorer or Firefox to access Gartner (access will not be granted with Safari)
