  • Adobe Discontinuing Sale of Creative Suite 6 (CS6) Licenses

    Effective February 27, Adobe is discontinuing the sale of Creative Suite 6 (CS6) under its volume licensing programs.  Instead these products are available via a subscription to Adobe’s “Creative Cloud.” Note: This will NOT affect any existing installations.  You may continue to use the Adobe software you have previously purchased, indefinitely, as long as it continues to function.  This only means you may not purchase any NEW licenses for the CS6 products after February 27th.   • MATLAB Online Feature Not Available at UA

    MATLAB® Online is not available to students with the University's current license. Only students who have purchased the MATLAB Student Version product can access the MATLAB Online feature.  About MATLAB Online Feature MATLAB Online provides access to MATLAB from any web browser.   • Autodesk Now Free to Students and Faculty

    Effective July 1st licenses for Autodesk Education Master Suite and Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate became available free to faculty and students for purposes directly related to learning, teaching, training, research or development.  To learn more about installing free Autodesk products for personal devices visit the Autodesk page on UA Software License.   • Microsoft Offers Free Office 365 to Students

    Microsoft is making available to students of qualified institutions free subscriptions to Office 365 (Microsoft software in the cloud).   • Apple Releases New Operating System - OS X Yosemite

    Apple has released their latest operating system, OS X Yosemite (version 10.10). This is a free upgrade for most Apple computers and is available for download from the app store.
