Xming X Server for Windows was a free download product with the latest public domain release in 2016. The 2019 versions now require payment. Cygwin is a large collection of GNU and Open Source tools which provide functionality similar to a Linux distribution on Windows. You can still use Xming X Servers older versions but they may not be compatible with newer Windows OS.
